Casey The school board had the Spanish, biology, and chemistry laboratories remodeled for the beginning of this school year. New fire doors and a fire escape were installed for the high school building. Equipment purchased for the physical education departments by the school board included field hockey, badminton, tennis, and football equipment. The school board election was held April 11, 1964. The incumbents, William Peters and John Dobrinsky, did not seek re-election. Bill Etherton, Don Whitten, and Prosper Tournear were candidates for election with Don Whitten and Bill Etherton being elected as the new school board members. Later in the year further plans for remodeling were made. These included Mr. Howard's office and the high school library.
