+115 Pie Eating Contest On Sunday, October 12, a large crowd gathered in front of McPhearson Theater to watch the Annual Pie Eating Con- test. The object of the traditional Homecoming event was to see who could eat a whole pie in the least amount of time. No hands could be used, and no one was allowed to wipe pie off the faces of the contestants. Eighteen contestants from the various housing units were entered. The winner of the women's contest was Lylea Dodson of Ferguson Hall with a time of 2:28. This was the second consecutive win for Lylea as she won this contest last year. Second place went to Judy Maynard of Pfeiffer Hall and third place was awarded to Kim N egleman of the Kappa Delta sorority. The winners of the men's contest were Rob Borland in first place with a time of 1:26, this was Rob's third year to win this contest so he was allowed to keep the trophy.
