v, i, a m IT L. to R. : Kenneth Perry, Ronine Rausch, Jewell Mickey, Larry Preston, Charles Nickerson. In September, 1953, we at last had our first good look at I. V. and elected these students as our first class officers: Charles Nickerson, president; Larry Preston, vice-president; Ronnie Rausch, secretary; Jewell Mickey, treasurer; and Andy Mellow and Mary Spalinger, student council representatives. Our advisers are Mr. Larson and Mr. Farrand. The first activity we sponsored during our freshman year was the class party in November. That same month we chose Sharon Phillips to represent us as our candidate in the carnival queen contest. All of us have enjoyed this first year at I. V. and hope to be to- gether here for three more years.
