CLASS € l: Kneeling: Don King, Lee Carothers. Standing: Darrell Smith, Ken Rosen- berg, Barbara Prewitt. Upon entering high school on the morning of September 2, 1952, we received the annual dreaded, but much enjoyed freshmen initiation. Our first function as a class was to elect our class officers. Donna Zimmerman was elected president; Shirley Charlie, vice-president; Edytha Scott, secretary; Bonnie Scranton, treasurer; Jim Smith, sergeant- at-arms; Gary Holm and Carole Bliss, Student Council Representatives. In November we sponsored a Sock Hop . This was given in honor of the seniors. We also had a half-day off, because of our hard work on the Bleacher Raffle . The seniors won by a small margin and also got a half-day off. Soon we were sophomores and again busily electing our class officers. They are: President, Don King; vice-president, Lee Carothers; secretary, Barbara Prewitt; treasurer, Kenneth Rosenberg; sergeant-at-arms, Darrell Smith; Class Representatives, Donna Zimmerman and Greg Floyd. Our class advisers are Mr. Smith and Miss Conlogue. We sponsored a sophomore class party on Saturday, October 17. Every- one was invited and enjoyed it thoroughly. We are looking forward to next year, when we will be juniors, alas-- Upper-Class men .
