The Board of Education is an executive branch of the junior Collee. Members are elected by voters of school district 120 for a term of three years. These men oversee school affairs and act on recom- mendations presented by the superintendent. This year President Harry Debo retires after eleven years of faithful service on the Board of Education, during which time many improvements have been made in the physical plant and the educational program of L-P-O. '-4,3 it Miss Dorothea janz, secretary to the Board of Education, is present at every meeting. She handles the official correspondence of the school and performs the numerous other duties connected with her position. eight
