Winter Brings Warm Hearts to IVC Preparations for the Christmas season ushered in wintertime at IVC High School. Although temperatures dropped. IVC students displayed warm hearts and giving spirits throughout the long winter months. In December, the Student Council spearheaded the “Festival of Trees” pro- ject at IVCHS. Student Council mem- bers donated and decorated an ever- green at Shore Acres Park. The tree was later presented to a local family who had no Christmas tree. Additionally, the Student Council collected donations from the Senior Class, Junior Class, AFS, Sequence staff, VCene staff. Cho- rus and Pep Club which were given to the Community Needs Agency for Christmas food baskets for the needy of the Chillicothc community. On the home front, IVC students en- joyed the typical Christmas and snow madness and even heard strange rum- blings on the roof. A strange bearded man was also spotted in the halls. Santa and his reindeer? No. It was just a host of workers replacing hallway doors and tarring IVC’s roof.
