Minorit Business Student Association Minority Business Student Association is in its 4th year of existence. The purpose of the organization is to enhance the education and career development of minority students. With this goal in mind. MBSA provides the opportunity for minority student interaction through participation in managing its affairs and by implementing various programs that will ensure individual student growth. International Business Club The International Business Club is ISUS newest business club: having been formed in September of 1982. The IBC has a goal of increasing awareness of international business among ISU students and helping to prepare students for entrance into jobs in international business fields. programs include sponsorship of uest speakers, compilation of a career data Ease, and social activities. IBC also has special events such as the Talk-In lin Februaryl in which professionals from different areas of business meet with ISU students. Each year during Black History Month, the most talented, intelligent, poised and refined black female is crowned the new Miss Black ISU. The Miss Black ISU Pageant is sponsored and coordinated by the men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Epsilon Chi Chapter. The young ladies biding for the title are judged in many different areas: poise. intelligibility, talent, essay and participation. M iss Black ISU reigns from March to February. Her duties include public appearances, performances and service duties to ISU campus and the Bloomingtonflxlormal community. She also represents Phi Beta Sigma, Epsilon Chi Chapter in their Regional and National Miss Phi Beta Sigma Pageant. This year's Miss Black ISU is Lamouria Boyd.
