HOME ECONOMICS CLUB A main event for the Home Economics Club was a speaker from Merle Norman Cosmetics. This cosme- tologist spoke to the organization and demonstrated products and their meth- ods of application. Again this Christ- mas, the club sponsored a service project for ci needy family in the Bloomington-Normal area. l CLUB The major proiect of I Club, the organization for lSU's lettermen, was the sponsorship of Homecoming. The members held the elections for Homecoming Queen and gave an alumni tea. Other proiects were the adoption of a new constitution, the presentation of sports films, and the sponsorship of a dance with Wesleyan. GERMAN CLUB This year the German Club sponsored a dance in order to raise money for a trip to Chicago. The trip was to a German section of the city where the group attended a German play and dined at a German restau- rant. Speakers this year included Pro- fessor Pfabel and three ISU co-eds who recently returned from Germany. 28 'Q After the class session is over, a lecture hall furnishes a quiet place to read. .H

The organization sponsored a fall picnic and a booth at the AWS Activities Round-up. Workmanship earned the club first place in Home- coming tloat competition for the fourth consecutive year. 30
