Days and nights of an environmental cotton gauze as long as your lifetime, as deep as your consciousness, as warm or cold as your moralityfawareness allows it. What have you allowed? what has your consciousness condoned or found easier to ignore? Waiting for an environment to weave itself over you. have you urged the needles? have you made the thread strong? or did you bother to care? waiting for a layer of gauze to cover your protectively closed eyes to further hide your reality from you. Open your eyes. see what you can see etched among the stitches of the gauze. A year of stitches as a new environmental row. may it be a source of direction. may it show you a new way, a new answer, better yet, a new question. may you have the courage to open your eyes. But once open, will your eyes be blinded by disbelief? or will you simply be unable to focus on what must be seen? Another senseless war waged for even more senseless reasons did you see how far it had eased itself into the stitches? did you learn that this mutated stitch must no longer be a part of the pattern? I
