' ft T 'V 4, .4,' Q91 CIRCUS DAYS in '85 Parade of Stars The Parade of Stars began under the direction of Monica Pitt- man and Todd Smith. All who witnessed this event will agree that it was one of the best. Clovms, bands, and floats were the high- lights. Area high school bands performed as did our own IC Circus Band, who sounded better than ever. Many local dignitaries provid- ed floats. What would a parade be without clowns and their car. Ciard- ner Hall, who won the dorm decora- tions, provided a clovm with bal- loons, a gorilla, plus a ringmaster. The Sig Phips and Sigs sent a Carousel. And the Delts provided a warning to the Scots that they would be cannonballed. The Rhoers also had a nice float but due to faulty materials were unable to keep it afloat. Winners of this years' float awards went to Ciamma Delta for the womens society and to Pi Pi Rho for the men's society. And the main event was only minutes away. 1. The Delts winning float. 2. Gardner men clown it up. 5. The IC Circus Band.
