Health Occupations Gives Valuable Job Training After a year of careful planning and visual- izing by Chairman Mrs. Jean Aldag, a com- pletely new Health Occupations Division was made available to ICC students. The four Health Occupations curricula prepare students for careers as medical record technicians, phys- ical therapy assistants, registered nurses, and operating room assistants. In addition to classes on campus, the college provides clini- cal experiences for students under agency agreements with the Institute of Physical Medi- cine and Rehabilitation, Pekin Memorial Hos- pital, Proctor Community Hospital, and Wash- ington Nursing Center. Those who graduate from these programs will help to relieve the shortage of qualified health personnel in this area. l, if . r .e E T 'ri 'TX' A Bonnie Hall demonstrates t Susan Saltzberg how to transfer a patient to a wheelchair ,,,-f In preparation for paraffin baths Pat McMeen and Maureen McLmden test the temperature of the 9 Y' ' ....
