New Counselors, New Office Provide Extended Opportunities for Students The counseling department, after moving from decentralized locations to a counseling center in Lindsay Hall, made use of its new facilities by providing easier accessibility of counselors to student records and students to counselors. In addition to normal counseling duties, which include providing vocational and educational information and guidance in cases of personal problems, each counselor has an area of specialization. They also serve on committees in the school at large and within their own department to deal with all areas which might benefit students. Over the past year the staff has grown from 3 to 'I0, and among the new counselors is Douglas Bowers, who moved from being an instructor of technical graphics to counseling students in the Engineering and Industrial Oc- cupations program. Other new members of the staff include four women, Mrs. Margaret Bahnfleth and Mrs. Linda Robertson, and Miss- es Ruth Hucke and JoAnn Likes. The two new men counselors are Jack Teal and Tom Wares. ,, QQSSWQE Glenn Roberson Mrs. Vaughn Frisk Mrs. Margaret Bahnfleth
