N w-warg? 9' 1-it -ru six gg:-.L-gqrvxgfgrriel, I tr, E., 0' N' ' - r w' Bill Bahnfleth received Student of Peyton Harris received one of the Year and Service awards. two Senator of the Year awards Top activities honors were awarded to Bill Bahnfleth, Tim Elder and Peyton Harris at the first annual awards banquet May 'I6. Bill won one of the two Student of the Year awards and a Service awardp Tim was recipient of both Student of the Year and Senator of the Year awardsp and Peyton received the Sena- tor of the Year award. Tim Elder was recipient of both Student of the Year and Senator of the Year awards. Service awards were presented to those in- dividuals who contributed the greatest efforts for the betterment of student organizations and activities. Selected by the Senate, the award recipients were announced at the awards banquet on May 'l6. Receiving service awards were Bill Bahnfleth, Susie Christy, Gloria DeFoe, Charlotte Feakins, Fred Weber and Shirley Welton. I Receiving Service awards were Gloria DeFoe, Susie Christy, Charlotte Feakins and Fred Weber. Absent from picture was Shirley Welton.

'LT-I Miss Nancy Hunter Reigns At Formal Tara, symbol ot the elegance of the Old South, was theme for the 1969 spring formal at Peoria's Hotel Pere Marquette. The May dinner-dance was highlighted by the coronation of Nancy Hunter as Queen ot the college's second formal. Nancy was spon- sored by the Veterans Club and elected in an all-school election. The radiant Nancy Hunter received the queen's robe just before the coronation.
