Snow Brings Stillness, Fresh ideas to Campus With the change of season comes a change in the ideas and ideals of students. Thoughts turn to the ski weekends in Wisconsin, to- boggan parties over Christmas vacation, ice skating on Sunday afternoons and snowball fights in the moonlight. A warm cozy fire, a hot cup of cocoa and that special someone to share the evening with help to make the dreary winter months pass quickly. Dances Promote Friendships Taking time out from studying, students found enioyment and opportunity to meet new friends at informal dances held in the Student Center. Throughout the year many of the dances were sponsored by such groups as Social Commission, Senate and Greek Coun- cil, the Council giving two benefit dances to establish a revolving loan fund. ll Xl:
