Having marked his ballot for the mock election, Alan Cooksey heads for the ballot box. 1968 Was Year for Campaigning Whether students were running for Student Senate or campaigning for their favorite po- litical candidate, they tried to keep the man of their choice before the voters by passing out buttons and literature, making speeches and plastering posters on almost everything on campus. The candidates themselves met the people and discussed the issues in hopes that the voters would cast votes in their favor. Sophomore Herb Eeaton supports his candidate for Student Senate by helping Freshman Pam Tate erect her unique sign. ,ln -1 l, 4 i . .
