New Friendships Emerge in College Experiences We seek the Truth of courage from faithful friends when the road of life seems hard to travel. By ioining hands and sharing the knowledge and experiences others have gathered along The way, we emerge with new understanding and greater insight into the future. Each day as we encounter new personalities we find true friendship in the person who is honest and sincere-someone who is complete- ly himself. And there, close to the heart of that person, is the laughter and tears you shared, the wishes and the dreams, the little things that meant so much. When climbing the mountain of success, we may be tempted To slip and fall backwards, but when we reach the summit, we find that by turning to aid others we too have given of ourselves and become a friend.

Students celebrate the end of registration by doing their thing at the first iam session of the year. Reactions of these students varied as they received their identification cards. 4,016 Students Register for Fall Semester September registration meant many things to students. lt was a time of waiting in lines to get forms and schedules, pay fees, receive identification cards and buy books. It was also a time when students memorized their Social Security numbers. Freshmen recognized regis- tration as the beginning of a new social and educational life. For returning sophomores, it was one step closer to graduation. For all, though, it was an exciting experience that could be anticipated again in January.
