We Dedicafe We,- the Senior Class, dedicate this issue of the Mirror to you, Mr. Purple: in gratitude for your untiring efforts and concern for the youth of the community. Your participation in our assemblies and enthusiastic support at our athletic contests will be greatly missed. Under your leadership as superintendent, Ilion went through the reorganization of the school district after centralization, the tragic fire and two building programs. Your enthusiasm, intellect, good htunor and personal warmth have always been admired by us. This dedication is only a simple tribute, to be sure, but is given with respect and utmost sincerity. You-and your family-have been very much a part of our community and school life. May the years ahead bring you a great deal of success and happiness.

Your warm smile and sincere friendliness will re- main with us for a long, long time. We will never forget your willingness to help us with our problems. Neither will we forget your patience as you explained that all right triangles are not the same. You taught mathematics in an outstanding manner. At the same time you showed a deep and encouraging interest in us. Your high standards and personal qualities set a fine example for us all to follow.
