Teachers Aid Students Aid senior's treasury Keep in shape During the past year, many generous faculty members have devoted their valuable time to help the student body. Mr. Monohan, one of the senior class ad- visers, spent much time at the concession stand, helping the seniors sell hot dogs to hungry foot- ball fans. Many athletically inclined teachers donned their sneakers to help the basketball and volley- ball teams. Week after week, they scrirnmaged the two squads. Despite for in spite ofl their help, the basketball, and volleyball teams man- aged to win the Section III championships. Late in March, the men's faculty of Herki- mer and Ilion met in a basketball game. The Golden Bummers', won for the second year. Such stars as Fabulous Fahey, Furious Fahy, Colossal Call, Nitro Nicolette, Lightning Lang, Babes Tisci, Dribbler Drake, Marvelous Mur- ray, Set-Shot Salisbury, Terrific Tucker, Fero- cious FindLu'a, Sensational Savino, Shoot 'em up Sorge, Soaring Schleicher, and their coach, Mighty Manion, managed to look like idiots and act like clowns for the second consecutive year.
