Yes, Ilion High finally has what it's lacked for several years - a real newspaper! Under the guidance of Mrs. Leonard Wright and Mr. Myron Bouck, co-editors Peggy McClave and Linda Vernooy have developed the Golden Quill into a newspaper that the students can rely on. It was printed bi-weekly and sold every other Fri- day for ive cents a copy. At first, it was quite a struggle, but finally a routine was set up, reporters were assigned beats, and the Golden Quill went to press every other Wednesday without fail. This year's staff did it. Let's hope that next year the students of Ilion High School continue to hear Quill for sale, frequently.
