MIRROR 1962 Ilion High School Ilion, New York Foreword lVe, the Class of 1962, are unique in many ways, as is our yearbook, The Mirror! Many of you remember Hector, our class games mascot of past years. His grand- father, Horatio, has come to Ilion High to witness Hector's graduation in the Class of '62. Horatio, an old veteran of the Civil Wfar, is celebrating the Civil War Cen- tennial and, in contrast to the original conflict, has pledged himself to commemorate the struggle NORTH of the Mason-Dixon line. Despite his unscrupulous tactics to prevent the '62 Mirror from going to press, the Mirror staff triumphed, as you can see. However, Horatio managed to foul up our photographs and thus appears in many pictures despite our precautions. Therefore, it is with great indifference that we must publicly announce that the SOUTH HAS RISEN AGAIN!!!!!!! 2
