He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it. LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. don’t understand why when needed you most you would leave me. ” The LORD replied, My precious, precious child, love you and I would never leave you. Among these activities is Basketball, Football, FBLA and NHS. As a freshman Joe was nominated Class President and Freshman Class Favorite. In football he was two-time all-district quarterback, all-conference quarterback, all-state quarterback, and was on the Academic High School All-American Football Team-QB. He was the co-captain his sophomore and senior years and was selected freshman of the Year his freshman year in sports. Joe has also been on the honor roll. Miss IHS-Nina Archuleta has also participated in many activities. Among her activities are Cheerleading, Band, Student Council, Peer Counseling, Big Brothers- Big Sisters, Adopt-a-grandpar-ent, and Colorado Junior Miss State Finals. Nina has been nominated as Freshman Class Secretary, Freshman Class Favorite, Junior Class Treasurer, Junior Class Princess, and Senior Class Pres. Nina has also been on the honor roll.
