Into this world after me, I give you murder, rape and death, I give you famine and diseases with every breath, 1 give you wars and destruction a thousand fold, give you every horror every told, I give you the young that starve, old that die, 1 give you the rich that laugh, the poor that cry. WE DEDICA TE THIS BOOK TO: Picture, If you can, a man who laughs with the kids and jokes with the teachers. It’s not hard when you know our principal who is distinguished from others because he is ours. A job like his requires a firm hand and a sense of authority. This man possesses these qualities along with patience and a sense of humour. He is fair. It’s not polite to point but Mr. Lucero is a person you’d proudly point to and say, “I know him. He’s our PRINCIPAL.” 17
