Blonde. 18 year-old Judith Ann Ford, of Belvidere. Illinois. was crowned Miss America of 1969 by the outgoing Miss America. Debra Dene Barnes. 3. A brace of plow mules pulls the farm wagon bearing the casket of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. along its funeral procession route in Atlanta. King was shot to death April 4th m Memphis. Tennessee. 4. This is how it looked at th£ Finish Line of the Kentucky Derby with Dancer's Image crossing first. Dancer s Image was disqualified, however, and Forward Pass, shown at center, was declared the big winner. 5. Bobby Unser. Albuquerque. New Mexico, stands up in his racer in the-Victory Circle after winning the Indian apolis 500 mile Speedway race in a record speed of 152.88 miles per hour. 6. Richard M.
