SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY While sightseeing around the world I happened to hear of Rudolph Lopez, former I.H.S. senior of ’57, in Egypt. Learning that he had become King of Egypt I hunted him up. While talking with him I caught sight of another senior, Isabelle Begay, who was Rudolph’s lovely wife hard at work sewing up the Kings best suit, telling king Lopez he needed servants. Much to my surprise up from no where came three hard working servants to get instructions, they turned out to be Richard Olson, Christy Chavez, and Mike Jacques. I continued on my way forever onward to Japan where I discovered two more former classmates were being united as man and wife in a double ring ceremony. None other than Sandra Miller and Donald Olbert. Donald owns the richest land in Japan, crowded with silk worms. Watching the wedding ceremony from a distance I sighted the preacher performing the ceremony as another classmate, Ronald Rea, the present army commander in Japan. Leaving Japan I journeyed to Africa, wanting to see the darkest part of Africa I joined a safari; and came across a part of the White Rat Tribe. Asking for the chief, who should appear but Fred Ruybal. An elephant sized Fred was he, who had been stretched three times larger than his normal size, by a freak doctor, Mrs. Dorothy Kirkengziedler, the former Dorothy Rags Riggin a senior of '57, for killing rats and selling their meat for stewing meat. From here I took a canoe up the Adriatic Sea to Italy. Here finding Francisco Enriquez sitting on the street with his bottle. I stopped and had a chat while he, his wife Mrs. Darlene Enriquez, former Darlene Moss, and their son Rudy John Duran Enriquez were playing the new Italian game Bridge . After watching them for an hour I decided I must leave while I still had a chance. Saying good-bye to my dear old friends I skied over the Alps to Paris. France. Hearing of the great perfume factory, I went to purchase some sweet smelling perfume. The owner of this great factory was Harold D. Tubbs, when I asked the price of the perfume I was escorted to the rear of the building where I was greeted by the lovely smiling face of Mrs. Harold Tubbs, Sharon Mayfield during her school days, who was the chief boss. Making a purchase of three ounces of Midnight Dream Perfume for $20 an ounce. I was once more on my way. Hitch-hiking through France to Spain I decided to attend the great bull-fight. Wow, what a handsome fighter! I adjusted by binoculars to get a closer view. Finally I realized it was one of the I.H.S. seniors, Robert Hott. Robert was a prize bull-fighter. He presented me with a bulls tail for a souvenir. Wishing him good luck I left traveling on to Scotland where I heard from the villagers of a great celebration, the Highland Fling. The chief performer was Freddie Taylor in his blue and orange plaid kilts. Following the performance I was honored to help Freddie celebratae at Ernest’s palace. Ernest Phelps and his charming waitress, Rita Vigil were busy filling mugs as fast as we could drink them. Going on to Greenland, a very cold place, I was greeted by Miss RaNea Roundy by a rub of the nose at the post office. I was taken to her home. To my amazement 1 beheldCarol Cassador, Jack Frost, Shirley Kohler and Johnny Begay dancing an old favorite of mine, the Bunny Hop . Suffering from the intense cold I just had to go to a warmer place. I set sail for Newfoundland. I never dreamed any of the '57 seniors of I.H.S. would own a real fur shop, but whom did 1 see, Mrs. Claudean Zacarocker, Claudean Pinnecoose as I knew her, running the Sharon Kenoa fur shop. Buying fur coats was Billy Quintana, most likely for his dear charming wives Mrs. Florence Brewster Quintana, Mrs. Mercy Trujillo Quintana and Mrs. Grace Newton Quintana. Page 27
