Student Council On Behalf Of The Students The Student Council is a go-between. They mediate between the students and the faculty, attempting to come to a compromise that will suit both parties. The Student Council was responsible for the changed dress code. They also maintain the coke machines. As well as this, they provide a movie for the students’ entertainment. Honor Sought By N. H. S. Members Is N.H.S. really an honor? For a number of years it has been increasingly looked down upon by other students. As one student said. No one has ever convinced me that it was a good enough organization to join. As well as this there is a significant lack of interest among members. What is the solution to this problem? This year N.H.S. has been working to promote interest. Some of its programs have included a puppet show, a Christmas assembly, visiting the planetarium, and a presentation by Johnny Ray Watson. Will N.H.S. achieve its goal?. . . 12 N.H.S.
