From Jerry Don Murry who does nothing rash; To Grice Turner, he wills all his cash. To Roger Sage, Tony Rodrequiz wills with pride; His place on the ball team, his spirit, his stride. From Howard Ehler, who is going to college, Goes to Dale Parr some of his knowledge. Pat Gartin sends her book reports in To Charles Price, he’ll need 'em. Marvin Verkamp wills his English notebook, with joy, To Terry Hettler, the Junior Quiz boy. To Dwain Browning our own bookworm; R. G. Tilly wills his ability to learn. The books in the library to Randy Hurst goes. To Paul Motley a comb, for Seniors must be on their toes. From Mrs. Wallace, does hereby go. To Wayne Hill another zero. J. D. Burton wills the gleam in his eye. To Gerald Kelly, with a sigh. Anne and John leave their love for the weather; To Carolyn Sherrod and Wayne Boyd in hopes they'll get together. r To dear Mr. Berry, although we hope he never leaves; We hope he forgets how to say Shut up, please! To all of our friends, we’d like to give mention; But to Mrs. King, Mr. Freeland, and Mr. Briden, we call attention. We leave Mr. Vaughan, strict but so kind; A better principal and friend, you’ll never find. Mr. Walker’s a worker, he wants a good school; You’ll get along better if you follow his rule. Our ability to learn, which is usually keen; Goes to the freshmen so new and so green. To the sophomores, a good-looking lot, We want you to know, we expect all you’ve got. The juniors who follow, we hope it is true; Will come back next year, and graduate too. To the bus drivers who need a new bus; We hope that you'll get one without a fuss. To the faculty - we surely do hope; That the classes who follow, are not such dopes. Time for Seniors to leave, we’re sorry to say; So good-bye and good luck, we'll be on our way. We hope you'll enjoy all we've bequeathed; And so we'll remain, as signed underneath. L THE SENIOR CLASS OF ’62
