the Senior Class of 1962 can attain this goal then we will feel that work has been a success. ANNUAL STAFF HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING Jlcfmtntsirahon Dear Seniors: As you look back to these years in high school I know that you will remember them as some of the most pleasant of your life. I sincerely hope that you are successful in whatever field you enter after graduation. Success can be yours, but only if you are willing to put forth much effort. Do not measure your success in how much material goods you are able to accumulate, but remem- ber your greatest riches lie in your being happy and satisfied with life, and to have a happy and satisfying life depends en- tirely upon you. May the best in life be yours, and I wish for you a very happy and wonderful life. Sincerely, Merle Walker Dear Seniors: While striving for success, may you not be blind to the need of others, and may you maintain the same high standards of sportsmanship and fair play that you have shown in school. It is my sincere wish that this school has not failed in its purpose to help develope you into a socially-conscious, participating citizen of democracy. Remember always Do unto others as if others were you, and To thy own self be true. Your friend. Dalton Vaughan J ie ioarcf of C cfucation From left to right: Sid Capahaw, R. F. Your efforts in producing the '62 Edition of the Idalou Wildcat is greatly appreciated by all of us in the Junior High. We know that all great events have been recorded for history since the invention of the written word. You, the Idalou Annual Staff, through this Yearbook, have portrayed, recorded and thereby pre- served for our memory all of the wonderful events that make up the 1961-62 School Year. This is, indeed, an admirable accomplishment. Speaking on behalf of myself and the entire Junior High, may the best of everything always be yours.
