I IDALOU RURAL HIGH SCHOOL J956 THE WILDCAT We, the Wildcat Staff, are proud to present to you our 1956 annual. This book has caught glimpses here and there, so that in years to come the activities of this school year at Idalou High will not fade from your memory. In later years, while turning these pages, if you should recall the many laughs, sorrows, and dreams of '56, we shall be content, knowing that we have done the thing we were called upon to do. The Wildcat Staff To someone who has given time and his tireless effort to do everything possi- ble for our school and the student body. He has been with us but two short years and already gained the love and respect of each and everyone of us. To Mr. James DeWitt Crawford we dedicate the 1956 WILDCAT, Dear Seniors: As another year closes may you look back with fond memories of the many happy events during your high school days, and may the future hold hope for a wonderful life for you. You must face many difficult problems in life, but always remember that courage, determination, and a sense of right can solve any problem. My association with you the past years has been a distinct pleasure, and I shall remember each of you as a very wonderful person.
