A change in procedure saw the student body vice-president, Margaret Hall, heading Stu- dent Council for the year. The council busied itself with the usual appointments, investi- gations and appropriations. Their activities began with the traditional 'tretreatv where they get away from it all and decide on the problems and procedures coming up. The duties of head of Student Council and student body vice- president fell to Margaret Hall. She is the first woman to hold the job in many years.

Friendliness was the trademark of 1954-55 Student Body President BURT BROOKBANK. With the assistance of Student Council, he helped with the usual activities and investi- gated various problems as they arose. During his administration, Burt gained the confidence of both the faculty and the students. 23
