Every student enters his next year of school with a certain amount of trepidation, and we cannot claim to have been any different, especially as we entered our sophomore and seniors years. It was during our sophomore year that we first had actual contact with you, and the mark of that year is an integral part of our living legend. At the end of last year we were overjoyed to learn that we would see you again this year, and what a year it has been . . . We are certain that seniors will remember that we were never given much homework; but when we did have any we were expected to do it and do it well. Everyone has pet phrases, but we remember one in particular of yours that goes something like this: You should remember this from World History. I know I taught you this! So it is with pride and affection that we dedicate our yearbook to you, MR. KENNETH SCHANZ, and include you as part of our living legend. Dedication 4

We entered this school alive and we will leave alive. Being the people we are, we each in our ways become a legend in our time. Our class has created its own legend apart from that of the whole school; and it is these multifarious activities, events, and people that we here record, not to look at and remember, but to see and know that this is all happen- ing every day. We have made a living legend and we are ICHAROO CRANE CENTRAL SCHOOL
