Since then her classes have been a joy to us. We have learned to temper determination with humor, dedica- tion with friendliness, and judgment with compassion. She commands our respect as a great teacher and our love as a dear friend who has always been ready to champion our cause when we have needed her help. The Class of 1971 is glad to have this opportunity to show its appreciation by dedicating the 1971 Legend to you, MRS. MARGARET PERKINS. 5 3ht Appreciation of ♦ ♦ ♦ MRS. IVA MORSE You have contributed much to our school and have always seemed eager to do even more. With the students you have been understanding and kind, honest and just, gen- erous and sincere; by this you have earned not only our respect but also our love. You were the advisor of the Honor Society and filled the post most effectively. You have taught us French and Latin, but, more important, you have taught us the values by which human beings can enrich their lives. You have set an example of true dedication for which we wish to express our genuine appreciation. 6 IN MEMORY OF MISS JEAN ROECK As sophomores we all received our introduction into the finer aspects of the English language by this distinguished lady. She was a most sensitive person who truly was committed to the student tody and this school. She was dedicated to her work, and her absence is noted by those who knew her.
