Af ' ly, fourth year of Athletics in Iaeger High finds the athletic 3 ,sly fm situation very good indeed. The football. team enjoyed what . i' ' 3 has so far been known as its most successful season with two l , y games won, one tied and three lost. Coach Augenstein in spite of lack I l of materials turned out a team any school would be proud of. Three T of our men will be lost by graduation, but we feel sure next year's team will equal this year's team for We have a large number of men out P who are not on the team. ' 'l' Basket-ball found the girls with only three letter men,.but under the 'i' 'L excellent training of Miss Shepherd the team rapidly rounded into 'f -- - x' l good shape. l fl The boys also made good in Basket-ball this year. By graduation the boys will lose four men and the girls will lose three. The e men . played an important part in the games this year and their places will fl . li be hard to fill next year. I ' M Too much praise cannot begiven to Coach Augenstein for- his I fi excellent Work and fine spirit in coaching both Football and Basket- 4 ball teams. Miss Shepherd also comes in for quite a tribute for her 57 i Y excellent Work with both Varsity Teams and also the smaller girls T' ' i A in lower grades. .W , t f Q! The future prospects look very bright in athletics. Trusting that this good work will continue aslsuccessful in the future as in the past. 5 . i ' sas. i l gl I I z 1 Y T l 7 I 4 l I J 1 l l t I .68 ' - 4 I '.' l 4. ,.. . rt. l ., , pdf-my ,E
