We believe that every child should be an acceptable as well as a contributing member of society. ' Our objectives are: to develop habits of good citizenship through an understanding of democratic principles and through application of these principles, to provide each individual with knowledge, skills, and atti- tudes that make for worthy home membership, to give every pupil func- tional knowledge of the fundamentals, so that he may be able to solve problems arising in everyday life, to develop sound mental and physical health, to discover innate abilities, interests, and need, to guide and direct pupils to those subjects which will enable them by their own ca- pacities to prepare for the vocation from which they will derive the most good and through which they can give the most effective and effi- cient serviceg to develop within the individual intelligent self-control, to develop in the individual a sense of responsibility for his actions and a respect for the spiritual values of life. y Outcome: We hope that there will be a definite evidence that pupils have developed, by the time they finish high school, desirable skills, habits, knowledge, understandings, abilities, and appreciations to the extent that they will be able to make intelligent Life Adjustments in our American Way of Life. ll l l 1 ,U A
