As the years pass, many will venture through Ole Terrell High, seeking a spark from the eternal flame that burns here. Although they will be warmed by the glow of this flame, nothing will compare with the brightness which has shone this year. The many outstanding achievements by seniors, juniors, and sophomores prove that this indeed has been an eventful year. In this publication of the Panther, it is our desire to recapture memories of the past and to present to you a yearbook that will serve in the future as a re- minder of this--our Once in a Lifetime school year.

This one is no exception. The achievements of this year--academic, civic, and athletic--have combined to make it one of the most successful of all school years. In order to recall this Once in a Lifetime year, the jour nalism class has prepared the 1966 edition of the Panther. It is our aim to pre- sent in a comprehensive manner all the events that have taken place this year. This book will be used as a supplement to the real actionsg to highlight them and to make them as real as they once were. The language is simple and has been carefully chosen to describe all of our most memorable occasions.
