Autobiography GEORGE WYCHE With the aid of the 76-77 Yearbook Staff, we decided that Mr. George Wyche, deserved to be recognized as an out- standing and loyal teacher at I. C. Norcom High School . We think that he has a most influential effect on the student body. We feel that he has been guiding students and student ' s parents the right way for many years. And we hope that he will continue to guide students the right way, here at I. C. Norcom for many more years to come . Respectfully , Robin Hurdle We are proud to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. George Wyche, who teaches Mathematics. Mr. Wyche graduated from D. Webster Davis High School and went to Virginia State College from 1946 to 1950. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and has served in the U.S. Army for years. Mr. Wyche is married and has four children. His work experience includes the Southampton County Training School for 5 years. Athletic Director for 8 years, and he has been a great Mathematics teacher at I. C. Norcom High School for 21 years. We admire Mr. George Wyche for the dedicated service he has given to Norcom and honor him for the outstanding contribution he has made at I. C. Norcom. COMMENTS from NORCOMITES! 1. He treats you like a person and not like a student, also he doesn ' t let you get away with everything. 2. He is a very nice teacher, enjoys joking around, but when he wants you to get your work he means business. 3 He is an outgoing person and is involved in many school activities. He seems to enjoy his work. 4. He not only teaches you about Math in school, but he also teaches you home manners. 5. He ' s hard and knows his stuff, and is a very good man. Helen Dillahunt I I
