CH 7 5 7 3 DEDICATION Mr. Albert Thomas Edwards is a native of Warren County, North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Hampton Institute, Hampton, Virginia in 1936 and his Masters of Science De- gree from Cornell University. Mr. Edwards has continued his grad- uate studies at Columbia Teachers College, Old Dominion University, and Virginia State College. In his professional career in Virginia, Mr. Edwards has been considered a dedicated coach, teacher and ad- ministrator. From 1950 through 1966 he was Assistant Principal and from 1966 through 1972 he has been Principal of I. C. Norcom High School. Mr. Edwards is married to the former Miss Thelma Spence. The Edwards’ have had two children, a son Albert T. Edwards, Jr. and a daughter Jessica Regina Edwards. Due to Mr. Edwards’ educational background and activities, his pro- fessional associations, his professional experience, and his total con- cern for humanity has enabled him to present to us an air of realism, wisdom, virtue, and dedication to all. For these reasons we the 1971-1972 members of the I. C. Norcom High School yearbook staff hereby dedicate this book to Mr. Albert Thomas Edwards . . . 2
