THE NORCOMITE There is a very remarkable and interesting species of adolescents in the United States, called the Nor- comite. He is found in his natural habitat. I. C. Norcom High School, nine months out of each year. The distinguishing characteristic of this species is his overwhelming desire to achieve excellence. He maybe described as a responsible individual, constantly striving to attain excellence. He always puts forth his best effort and in the process incor- porates honesty and integrity into all of his acts. His sense of school loyalty is unshakeable and his sense of self-respect and respect for others is un- questionable. A defender of right and inspiration to his peers, he is undoubtedly one of the fundamental mainsprings of his school. As can be surmised, this species is very rare, however it thrives at Norcom High School .
