Below is Barry Smith, honor graduate of the January 1963 class. Barry is a symbol of the best in scholarship that we tried to accomplish while here at Norcom. Barry was a former president of the Student Cbuncil and a member of the Tidewater Scholastic Team.

NORCOM ' S SCHOLASTIC TEAM (First By maintaining the highest in scholastic achievement, the above Norcom scholars were named to the school ' s Scholastic Team in an area wide effort sponsored by a local newspaper. DRAMATICS CLUB At left Earl Sydnor, noted television star, dropped in on one of the dramatics classes. While here we learned that he would soon appear on a national dra- matic series. All the world ' s a stage, said Shake- speare . The Norcom Dramatics Club gave many a noteworthy production . At right Mr. Sydnor enjoys a laugh with his most interested audience. Mrs. Askew and her husband joined Dramatics Club for one of its productions. 10
