Our Principal Mr. V. E. W aters For nine years, I. C. Norcom High School has had a capable and fearless principal in the person of Mr. W. K. W aters. He has shown his capability through his expert handling of the crowded conditions of our school. Yes, he has been stern, but his ability to remain stern through these nine years has won the respect and love of the student body. His fearlessness was shown in his persistent effort to acquire adequate school facilities for us which resulted in the construction of the “new Nor- com.” Air. W aters’ philosophy is expressed in this poem. “O God, that men might see a little clearer or judge less harshly those things they cannot see. O (jod ! that men might live a little nearer to each other; then they would be nearer Thee and understand!”
