{ommencement A special moment in the commencement exercises was when Ruth Balciunas re- ceived her diploma. Ruth has been a tremendous testimony to the entire Hyles-Anderson student body through her de- termination. She had lost her legs in an auto accident. Her courage and convictions are a testimony to what a true, Christ-like attitude really ought to be. We are thankful that as we reflect back on this year, we can remember Ruth Balciunas as a part of this class as a soul winner, a pray- er warrior, a student; all in all, a very special lady. What an incredible chal- lenge to realize that a lady who is a double amputee has been responsible for winning over 100 souls to the Lord each year of her four year ten- ure at Hyles-Anderson.
