GIRLS’ SOFTBALL — After viewing the Hyles-Anderson ladies at functions such as the Valentine Banquet and the Mother-Daughter Banquet, it seems somewhat in- congruous to envision the barreling into second base in a cloud of dust. SOFTBALL Intramural Softball is a season that is marked by both brevity and excitement. Although the season is only a few weeks long, it is special for a variety of reasons. These include the fact that there is nothing more American than the crack of the bat and the smell of freshly cut grass on a warm, early summer afternoon.
