FOOTBALL Football season begins with try outs in early September. Here among the forty-yard dashes and the basic skill tests, the assorted captains watch to see who they should select in the upcoming draft. Following the draft, there are ex- hibition games and then the regular season. Intramural Football is culmi- nated by the annual Super Bowl. This festive occasion has occurred for seven consecutive years and is viewed by the entire college family. This is often a memorable event because it always seems to occur on an unbelievably cold day. This was the case once again this year as the huddled, shivering masses wait for half-time to arrive. The group that Intramural Football means the most to is the actual partici- pants. These are the young men who practice and train for the excitement of game time. It is these men who will long remember the names like the Fiery Fal- cons and Jarring Jets.
