“RRR nme opr One of the highlights of Pas- tors’ School this year was the skits put on by Mr. Bill McSpadden and the Activities’ Department. For the most part, these skits were of a humorous nature, and, while they often had a story to them, they helped to liven up the audience on many occasions. A special dramatic skit was presented in which the life sto- ry of Dr. Hyles was shown. This proved to be a blessing and a challenge as his life was relived on stage. DOs T © ReASiFees Two special honorary doctor- ates were given out at Pastors’ School this year to two men who have been a tremendous example to Christian workers across the United States. Mr. George Godfrey, who has come to epitomize the term “soul winning” and who is the profes- sor of the course “Personal Evangelism” at Hyles-Ander- son College was given a doctor- ate for his efforts to further soul winning by Christians across the country. Evangelist Carl Hatch was also given a doctor- ate for his unceasing efforts in the field of evangelism. Evan- gelist Hatch also preached a tremendous sermon on Monday evening, which resulted in thousands of hearts being touched and changed. Right: Dr. George Godfrey. There were many special speakers at Pastors’ School who served to enliven and to chal- lenge through seminars and ser- mons. The theme of the entire program, which was carried out through each special speaker, was that of soul winning. Meth- ods and ministries which can be used to win the lost were taught.
