Dr. Faulkner Dr. Faulkner was another honored guest for the Hyles-Anderson student body. Dr. Faulkner, who served with Dr. Roberson for over four decades, spoke from his heart on success in the Christian life. This potpourri of accu- mulated wisdom that has been amassed over the decades will undoubtedly prove to be invaluable for each of us. One of the highlights of Dr. Faulk- ner’s visit to Hyles-Anderson College was to hear him lead the congregation in a song. His vibrancy and love for the Lord was clearly evident to the student body as they were singing. Dr. Faulkner has become the arche- type second man for assistant pastors all across America. He is a stirring ex- ample of what our preacher boys should strive for in their service to other men. Dr. Roberson Dr. Lee Roberson is a true hero to the students of Hyles-Anderson College. Dr. Roberson, who for over four dec- ades has ministered at the great High- land Park Baptist Church and Tennes- see Temple University, was the speaker for two days this spring. Dr. Roberson’s preaching and teaching, and especially his life serve as a testimonial to each of us of how God can use a man who is pliable in the Lord’s hands.
