(ares DR. JACK HYLES The spirit of the school never quite shows like it does on Wednesdays when Dr. Hyles speaks in chapel. No matter what his subject, he always speaks straight from his heart to ours. His love and concern for the college is visible each and every time he speaks. DR. WENDELL EVANS “Don’t leave here until you've gotten all you can get.” “Don’t let ‘waiting on God’ be an excuse for laziness.” “Live it and tell it, but live it before you tell it.” “Learn from your past, then burn it.” There is always a special excitement among the stu- dents when Dr. Evans preaches in chapel. His messages are a special challenge, and his unique knowledge of the students qualifies him to meet their needs.
