The nurseries of “B, C,” and “‘D’’ Sunday school are an important part of the First Baptist Church. Many may wonder how the lives of these young children can be changed and trained to live for Christ. The Sunday school superintendents and her workers try to instill in these children the impor- tance of behaving and that Sunday school is fun. When most people think of a nursery, they picture in their minds sweet little chil- dren, but as one Sunday school superintendent re- ported: “This is not always true. Kenny was a battle of wills from the day he en- tered our department.”’ This superintendent invested her time in this child by going to teachers for advice and by working with Kenny. “A lot of time, prayer and love went into this boy. He is not perfect, but he has greatly improved.’ Kathy Fowler, Terry Ware, and Kim Bonesteel served as Sunday school superinten- dents this year. 1, 2.
