Evening Services | Challenge Many Monday night “The Church with a Heart” was presented. During this service the various ministries of First Baptist Church are shown. Each time a new group was added they joined with the previous group for the chorus of “Oh, How I Love Jesus.” Here we have the deaf and the rescue mission men. Tuesday evening the church choir enhanced the service with their patriotic medley and their red, white, and blue attire. Dr. Hyles preached his message of challenge to pastors to reach America for God by reaching their towns and cities. Thursday evening the Hyles-Anderson choir performed the “Messiah” and then the Backwood Brothers Quartet sang a special number.
