They have always helped us to become better stu- dents in school and more dependable citizens in the future. Each class has its own grade advisers who handle numerous difficult problems. In Room 111 stands a little cubby-hole, containing a desk behind which you can occa- sionally find another student counsellor, Mr. Glen Fisher, who helps find work for students who need it, advises on suitable careers and aids the students in any way he possibly can. 6'ooa' Mlzensfzbb The Good Citizenship OH5ce at Hyde Park is headed by Miss Ver- onica VVhelan who deals with early dismissals, tardiness and class at- tendance. Truancy problems are handled by our truant officer, Mrs. Fishell. Our school psychologist, Miss Kernan, has the interesting job of giving students intelligence tests and helping them to choose appro- priate careers. By teaching students to obey the school rules and advis- ing them on future activities, these counsellors help them to become good citizens as the title of their office implies. 15
