The faculty of Hyde Park High School deserves a great deal of credit for carrying out this responsi- bility so Well. In several departments the teachers give their students the op- portunity to practice democracy in action. Pupils help prepare the class curriculum and hold elections for classroom officers who assist the teacher in conducting the class. One of the finest services performed by members of our faculty is the volun- tary sponsorship of extra-curricular activ- ities which gives students further train- ing to become the future citizens and leaders of our nation.
