EDUCATIGNAL ADMINISTRATION If the tribe is very large the big chief needs help in leading it. These aids are the other chiefs who sit with him around the many council fires to decide what is best for the tribe. Through the many moons that go by the big chief has numerous problems come up and with the able assistance of his council he is always able to solve them. Although they do not wield as much power as the big chief, these minor chiefs which make up the council are heads of different sections of the Indian village. They help him enforce all the de- cisions which are made and also teach the people many different trades and give him helpful information. Another branch of the tribe consists of the administrative braves better known as the grade advisers. They are part of the big chiefs council and they help to guide the tribe through its education. The big chief has many tribal assistants, among them the scribes who record credits, keep records under lock and key, care for finances and perform any task that presents itself in the office. The members of Aitchpes council go to make up the whole of our educational administration. They are the true counselors, our friends, our teachers.
